NASHUA, NH (May 21, 2026) – St. Joseph School of Nursing proudly celebrated the graduation of the Class of April 2026 during its 34th Commencement Ceremony, held at Nashua High School North. The ceremony honored 31 graduates representing both the School’s accelerated 1-Year Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) Track for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and the traditional 2-Year Track.

The 1-Year ASN Track provides LPNs with one of the fastest pathways available to become Registered Nurses, helping address the growing need for skilled nursing professionals throughout the region. St. Joseph Hospital has already hired five members of the graduating class, reflecting both the strength of the program and the ongoing need for skilled nursing professionals within the community.

The ceremony recognized the academic accomplishments, perseverance, and compassion demonstrated by the graduates throughout their nursing education journey.

“This graduating class exemplifies the dedication, resilience, and heart that define the nursing profession,” said Vickie Fieler, Dean of Nursing at St. Joseph School of Nursing. “Whether completing our accelerated 1-year program or the traditional 2-year track, these graduates have demonstrated an unwavering commitment to patient care and lifelong learning. We are incredibly proud to welcome them into the nursing profession.”

Two valedictorians addressed the graduating class and guests during the ceremony. Chelsea Cooperman, valedictorian for the Day Class, reflected on the important role her family played in supporting her educational journey. Emily Fallon, valedictorian for the Evening Class, spoke about the encouragement she received from both her family and her fellow students, highlighting the strong bonds formed throughout the program.

“The strength of this class was evident not only in the classroom and clinical settings, but also in the way students supported one another through every challenge,” said Erin Tully, Associate Dean of Nursing. “Their compassion, teamwork, and commitment to excellence will serve them well as they begin their careers as registered nurses.”

In a meaningful demonstration of giving back, the Evening Class presented an $800 donation to establish a St. Joseph School of Nursing Scholarship designated for a future enrolled student.
