Admissions & Aid

If you’re eager to jump into the highly competitive healthcare marketplace, work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, and, then a career in healthcare could be right for you.

There are distinct application steps to take depending on what type of student you are looking to be. For example, degree-seeking students have different requirements than those looking to earn a Certificate of Completion. Find which status fits you best and figure out how to apply.

This is my first time applying to a college or program.

TRANSFER STUDENTS

If you’ve taken classes elsewhere, don’t let your credits go to waste. Save time and money by transferring your non-nursing credits from previous institutions to St. Joseph School of Nursing.

  • If you are not sure if your credits will transfer, please contact our Registrar’s office for a review of your past courses.

CERTIFICATE & NON-DEGREE SEEKERS

  • Individuals desiring to complete non-nursing courses without entering a program may apply as a non-degree student.  This is a great way to see if you are ready to join the ASN program or to get a head start on your general education courses – making your course work easier once you are ready to join the ASN program.
  • We offer three training programs that can be completed in as little as 7 weeks – Medical Assisting, Nursing Assistant, and Phlebotomy training. Click here to learn more.
