General Admission Requirements

If you’re considering St. Joseph School of Nursing for the first time: welcome. The application experience for any school or college can feel overwhelming at times, but our faculty and staff are here to assist you at each step of the way.

Early submission of application materials is strongly encouraged. Applicants will be notified of a decision within 4-6 weeks after the application deadline.

Steps to Apply

Step 1: Application

Complete the St. Joseph School of Nursing Application by clicking here.

Step 2: High School Transcript

Official transcripts must be sent directly to our school by the issuing institution. This can be via mail, secure electronic exchange, or hand-delivered in a sealed envelope. Ask your high school to forward an official transcript to our Registrar’s Office. If you have a GED or HiSET, request that a reporting institution sends a copy directly to our Registrar’s Office.

Step 3: Proof of Citizenship or Legal Residence in the US

Every applicant must provide proof of citizenship or legal residence in the United States. Acceptable documents include a birth certificate, unexpired US passport, unexpired Permanent Resident Card or a Certificate of Naturalization.

Step 5: Decision Letters

Decision letters will be sent within 45 days of the application deadline.

Step 6: Mandatory Orientation for Accepted Applicants

If you are accepted into the program, your decision letter will provide details regarding Orientation
