Vickie Fieler, PhD, RN

Dean

Experience & Tenure: Vickie Fieler has been in the nursing profession for over forty years. Before becoming Dean at St. Joseph School of Nursing, worked as the Director of Nursing Research and Professional Development at St. Joseph Hospital and spent many years in oncology at Exeter Hospital’s Cancer Center. She also gained experience at the University of Rochester Cancer Center, Strong Memorial Hospital, Rhode Island Hospital, and Boston University Hospital.

Education: Dr. Fieler earned a PhD in Health Services Research from the University of Rochester, an MSN from Boston University, and a BSN from Northeastern University. Throughout her career, Vickie has consistently focused on both nursing education and high-quality clinical care.

The Office of the Bursar specializes in managing student accounts, including assessing tuition and fees, providing billing statements, processing payments and handling refunds and credits, when necessary and appropriate. Our Bursar, Linda, is committed to helping students in understand their student related charges while also providing guidance about payment options available to them.

The Admissions Coordinator assists people interested in attending the school to complete and submit admission forms and requirements.  She is able to answer any questions about the program and application process.  She will connect the applicant to the right resources, send reminders, and coordinate student orientation.

The Enrollment Services and Financial Aid manager oversees the Enrollment Services Department.  In addition she assists students in applying for and receiving federal financial aid.  She is also able to assist students in finding other financial resources such as scholarships and private loans.
