Congratulations on completing one of the most important and often overwhelming steps in the education process – submitting your initial application for admission. We know that gathering so much information, submitting to review by others and waiting for a response is stressful. We strive to make the process easier by keeping you informed on where you are in the process and about any remaining actions that you need to take.
- Within 48 business hours of submitting your online application, you will be able to login to our online portal, SONIS. (Instructions for logging in are below.)
- Once logged in to SONIS, you can track your application and view a checklist of the items/task you have remaining to complete.
- As items are received and tasks are completed, completed items will be noted with the indicator “YES” and date the item was received or task was completed.
- Note: As information is submitted and tasks are completed, we may need to add additional items to your checklist, so please check back frequently.
- When all of the items/tasks on your checklist have been addressed, we will mark your application complete and elevate it to our Admission Committee.
- Once the Admission Committee makes its decision, we will notify you by letter within 45 days of the application deadline.
- If accepted, an orientation packet will be e-mailed to you two weeks prior to orientation.
Instructions for logging into SONIS:
- Go to St. Joseph’s SONIS page by clicking here.
- Hover over the login tab and a drop-down menu will appear.
- Click on Applicant, which will bring you to a new page.
- Enter the email address and pin you used when creating your online application.
- Click login. You will then see the checklist referenced above.
